After your application has been submitted, it may take about a week to process. Then you should expect someone from the DVR to reach out to you by letter, email, or phone to go over the next steps with you. You will need to attend a group orientation and complete an over-the-phone intake to further determine eligibility for the program.

About this resource: Yahara House helps individuals in Dane County with severe or persistent mental illness with:

Living a life of respect and independence within the larger community
Who can use this resource? The individual must be at least 18 years old, live in Dane County, have a diagnosis of mental illness (documentation required), and not pose a threat to the clubhouse community. The individual must also be one of the following:

Enrolled in Dane County's Comprehensive Community Services (CCS) Program

Eligible for Medical Assistance (MAPP, BadgerCare, SSI)

Able to self-pay for service or have commercial insurance (call to learn more about this option)
