About this resource: Madison College offers GED preparation classes at little to no cost.
​
Who can use this resource? You would need to meet with an advisor to determine eligibility, but in general, you must be older the 181/2, have no high school diploma and have lived in Wisconsin for at least 10 days. Courses are available online and in person at six Madison College campuses.

There are a few fees for textbooks (around $30) and it does cost about $35 to take the GED test. It also costs about $15 to get a diploma. There are financial assistance scholarships to help with these costs.
