About this resource: Madison College offers GED preparation classes at little to no cost.

Who can use this resource? You would need to meet with an advisor to determine eligibility, but in general, you must be older the 181/2, have no high school diploma and have lived in Wisconsin for at least 10 days. Courses are available online and in person at six Madison College campuses.

Next Steps:

 

  • There are a few fees for textbooks (around $30) and it does cost about $35 to take the GED test. It also costs about $15 to get a diploma. There are financial assistance scholarships to help with these costs.
