About this resource: Safe Haven is a day shelter for adults with mental illness on Madison’s east side. Shelter guests have access to two meals per day, showers, laundry, bus tickets, mail, and phone services. They also provide housing-focused case management and crisis stabilization services funded through Medicaid. Safe Haven also has permanent housing available.

Who can use this resource? Eligible individuals must provide documentation of homelessness and mental illness

About this resource: Movin’ Out provides information, advice, referrals, and resources for home ownership, home repair for safety and accessibility, or rental housing for households with low to moderate incomes.

Who can use this resource? Families who meet the income requirements and have a least one person who as a permanent disability of any kind, whether intellectual, physical, or mental health
