** Wingra and Northeast patients should start by sharing mental health concerns with their primary care provider. Navigators can also consult with the social workers at each clinic to discuss the best next steps for a patient.**

For Northeast patients: The new Hub and Spoke Model also provides peer support specialists that will be in the clinic and can also be consulted for patients with substance use concerns.

About this resource: The UW Health Compass Program is a low-barrier program that offers medications for opioid use disorder (buprenorphine/Suboxone and extended-release naltrexone/Vivitrol) and addresses other substance-related health concerns. They also help patients connect with the necessary community and healthcare resources. The program provides financial assistance to uninsured patients to cover the cost of clinic visits, some labs, and medications.

Note: Tuesdays and Fridays: 8:30 a.m.–4 p.m.Walk-ins welcome on Tuesday and Fridays from 8–11 a.m., no appointment needed. Patients will be seen on a first come, first serve basis.

About this resource: Recovery Dane is a resource center for people with mental health needs and their family, friends, and allies. Recovery Dane provides information and referral to mental health resources.

Who can use this resource? Eligible individuals must be a Dane County resident, 18 years or older, and n other health insurance or ability to pay for services.

National Alliance of Mental Illness (NAMI) Dane County

About this resource: NAMI Dane County provides education, support, and advocacy for people affected by mental illness. They offer a variety of programs for individuals, as well as for families. Programs include educational classes and peer support groups.
