Men's Emergency Shelter // Porchlight

About this resource: Porchlight provides emergency overnight shelter to male-identified individuals over the age of 18 at its Drop-In Shelter and two overflow shelters. Guests receive two meals per day, personal hygiene supplies, access to showers and laundry facilities, and case management services. Shelter hours are from 5:30 PM- 7:15 AM every day.

Who can use this resource? Male-identified individuals over the age of 18.

  • UPDATE: The Porchlight Men's Emergency Shelter has been temporarily relocated to 200 N First St. Intake hours are 5:00pm - 8:30pm. The shelter number is (608) 416-1446. Click here for more information. 

  • Intake for all three shelters is at Grace Episcopal Church from 5:30 PM-8:30 PM:

  • Requests to enter the shelter after intake has ended are subject to the late entry policy. You must receive prior approval by calling (608) 255-2960 before 8:00 PM on the day of late entry.
