Legal Assistance:
Mediators who are members of the Dane County Bar Association mediate civil and family law cases (financial issues only) filed in Dane or Columbia County Circuit Courts through voluntary or court ordered mediation.
Eligibility:
Open to all parties with litigation pending in the Dane or Columbia County Circuit Courts. Parties may register at the link above.
Cost:
$100.00 per party payable to the Case Mediation Program. The mediator must be a member of the Dane County or Columbia County Bar Association and may charge an agreed professional fee if the mediation session requires more than 3 or 4 hours of the mediator's time.

Legal Assistance:
Advocacy, counseling, information and support services for parents who have difficulties as a consequence of divorce or paternity actions. Focus on access of the child to both parents. Referrals to lawyers and other professionals are available.
