About this Resource: Flywheel Skill Share facilitates a Transportation Project to address community needs and provide transportation for under-served and under-resourced populations in Madison. Flywheel drivers provide rides to health-related appointments, food pantries and grocery stores, employment, social and recreational opportunities, errands and appointments, school, and more.
Who can use this resource? Anyone! In furthering the Flywheel Skill Shares’ antiracist mission, we coordinate our transportation network and resources in order to prioritize the needs of Black people, Indigenous people, Latinx people, Asian people, and other people of color, seniors, people with disabilities, queer and trans people, individuals who live on low incomes, and people who experience homelessness.

For individuals in need of transportation, you can contact our transportation coordinator, who will share your request with the current group of drivers. If one of the drivers’ availability overlaps with your need, we will connect you with them and facilitate your free transportation.
